The gift of healing

Ailment and cure, tears and joy, pain and wellness, fear and courage, anxiety and hope — it all boils down to whatever you want to believe and entertain what you get out of it.

First published in Daily Tribune under Anthony Vivero's Vibes and Vision dated June 15, 2009.

Today is one of those rare times I can express my innermost feelings. It is my birthday today, June 15, and I am more than happy to share a healing miracle story with you. This is the best time to share a fulfillment of my gift as a human being who has discovered the reason for my existence.

There will be no story about myself, instead you will read a testimony — a healing miracle story from a believer with deep faith in the miracles continuously extended to us by our Divine Creators. The testimony was originally written in Tagalog mixed with some English words. We have translated the text to full English with the author’s permission.

I believe there is Someone somewhere in the universe who holds the answers and solutions to all our problems. It is just a matter of seeking and finding the answers.

My personal quest starts with anyone who needs that miraculous healing from the Divine One. Every healing session is an opportunity for me to meet my God and those who truly seek God. It is the reason of my existence, which I am happy to fulfill. The gift to heal, the gift to give hope, the gift to put a smile on a dying man, and most importantly, the gift of making all of us believe that God exists even when one has almost lost faith — that is truly beautiful.

Rose Danghel’s testimony

I am Rose Danghel, wife of Arnold Danghel. My husband, who was naturally fit and strong, suddenly fell ill. We knew that he was very sick based on what we observed as the days went by.

We got very worried when he slowly started shaking all over whenever he tried to walk. He had no strength to even get up from a seat or bed. He would need someone to help him up and lead him. His hands had no power to grip and seemed to have sort of shrunk. We also noted that the veins running though his hands had disappeared.

He became incapable of feeding himself, unable to lift his hands and swallow. There was a growth on his neck that bothered him a lot because of the pain it caused. He could not write because of the numbness in his fingers — his hands had been rendered useless. His bowel movements became abnormal. He also had constant fever and coughed a lot. He felt numbness in his stomach as well, with a cramping sensation. We were really alarmed.

We decided to have him checked by a doctor in Iligan City where we reside last Jan. 13, 2009. He was examined and was suspected of having a tumor in the spinal cord. We were advised to undergo an MRI scan (Magnetic Resonance Imaging). We immediately left for Manila to have the MRI scan done.

At PGH, the MRI scanning was performed. The results were positive in the “right paravertebral mass with spinal cord extension, C3-C5.” The primary consideration was Pott’s disease (bone tuberculosis) and metastasis (spread of disease from one organ or part to another). We were advised to let him have an operation or undergo cobalt treatment.

These surely require lots of money and yet the doctors themselves told us that the treatments do not guarantee a 100 percent recovery.

We opted to try other methods, approaching herbalists for appropriate herbal medications fit for the illness of Arnold. Additionally, we approached gifted individuals who can extend the healing miracles of our Lord Jesus Christ to my husband.

One day, a relative of ours, Felix Vergara, invited us to seek the help of a psychic healer, Anthony Vivero. Felix picked us up the very next day as it was Mr. Vivero’s healing day, May 13, 2009.

After the healing session, my husband went up to the altar where the statue of the Our Lady of Manaoag was enshrined. I saw my husband cry while touching the Lady’s statue. He fervently asked and prayed to be healed.

At that very moment, my husband noticed and felt that his fingers suddenly straightened out and his body slowly but certainly eased up.

The very next day, my husband said that the swelling or tumor in his neck had disappeared and that he felt no more pain in that area. He can now also swallow with ease. The difficulties in moving he used to have, along with the shaking and numbness of his body, started to ease and eventually disappeared!

It was a miracle! We were so overwhelmed and could not contain the happiness we felt, realizing he had been healed!

Today, my husband eats and walks on his own and can move his bowels without assistance. We also noticed that the veins that seemed to have disappeared from his hands are now slowly coming back. The best part is he can now carry his own chair around the house.

We followed all the advice given to us by Sir Anthony to the letter, like placing a towel dipped in lukewarm water over the swelling or tumor on his neck, and applying healing oil with rose petals to all inflicted areas of his body. With the prayers and treatment, surely they worked wonders! He is now back to his normal self.

I, and my husband, with our parents and relatives, deeply thank Our Lord Jesus Christ and Our Lady of Manaoag for using Sir Anthony Vivero in healing my husband, Arnold Danghel.

The gift of healing is for everyone. I have chosen to be one of the instruments and not just a recipient of healing. In the process, I met God so many times in the past 11 years of my mission. The gift of healing was handed down to me a day after my birthday 11 years ago, and I have been able to help so many sick people. I could not ask for more for I often receive the gift whenever an ailing individual comes for healing and his tears start to flow because he feels the presence of God in the healing session with me. That is the greatest gift I receive as a healer.

Let us rejoice for God is continuously blessing us.
