“SAVE-ONE-HELP-ONE”
Helping BIG with A Small Help

A Charity Project of the ANTHONY VIVERO FOUNDATION, INC.

VISION
“Poverty and personal problems are not excuses to refuse extending help to others”

MISSION
‘To create projects sponsored equally by everyone regardless of one’s status in life, thereby planting the seeds of true caring and love for those who are in need of assistance and aid’

MECHANICS:

1. Any individual or group who is willing to join and participate in the “Save-One-Help-One” Project will give One Peso or one denomination from a donor’s country of origin (dollar, pound, euro, dinar, yen, etc.) for each month of the year.

2. The Donor has the option of giving the amount in advance. If and when said donation cannot be given in advance, the amount accumulated may be given at a later time. However, advance or delayed donations has a maximum time frame of only One Year.  To clarify, one peso a month would total to 12 pesos a year,  and if you prefer to give in advance, you can give 12 pesos outright but you cannot donate more than a  year’s amount. Project “SOHO” is done on an annual basis.

3. All donations must be accompanied with the Name of the donor, indicating Full Name, Nickname, or an Alias, if donor prefers to use one. No donation will be accepted if no name is indicated.

4. Donations from children or minors will be accepted as long as there is a parent, guardian, relative, teacher or a known adult to explain the purpose of the donation.

5. Everyone is encouraged to help and assist in extending the collection of donations from other individuals or groups, associations, clubs, and the likes to support the Project.

6. All donations will be forwarded to the Anthony Vivero Foundation’s central office located at No. 21 Essen St., BF Homes Paranaque City.

7. Recipients of the ‘Save-One-Help-One” projects are subject to the approval of the AVFI Project Committee. As a rule, all possible and recommended recipients will be duly checked, studied, and researched for priority and urgency of need. The AVFI Project Committee has the final decision.

San Roque Elementary School, Pinugay, Baras, Rizal

Last year 2008, we built a school and made it safe and usable for the students and teachers. We also built an habitable house for a poor family.  We were very happy indeed as we were able to change  people’s lives for the better and all of these were done even without any financial backing from any institution but from the pockets of good friends,  volunteers and ordinary folks. Thanks to all of them!

The school before...

The school after...

We may wait for our prosperity miracle all throughout our lives, it may come or it may not, but today we can be the instruments of that prosperity for others.  God Bless!

Very truly yours,

Talking to spirits

First published in Daily Tribune under Anthony Vivero's Vibes and Vision dated February 16, 2009.

The Spirit is made with a special purpose. It is such an important creation that if not properly handled, it could yield negative results. It was never created for senseless or trivial communication.

Talking to spirits is a common practice among many believers of the paranormal. Unfortunately, many don’t know the proper way to deal with these entities. They unceremoniously make contact with them for the most senseless, trivial and mundane reasons. Instead of establishing a solemn and deep spiritual connection with the spirit of the Divine through heartfelt prayers and deep meditation, they inadvertently tap or summon negative/fun-loving spirits and suffer from their deceiving capabilities. It is better to arm oneself with knowledge first before delving on such matters.

Common methods used in spirit communication

1. Ouija Board and Spirit-of-the-Glass. One uses a chart with the alphabet and numbers written on it. A drinking glass or a piece of crystal is used to trap a spirit, which is then summoned or invited in for communication and conversation.

2. Spirit of the Coin. The process is the same as with the Ouija Board or Spirit-of-the-Glass, but instead a coin is used to communicate.

3. Mediumship/Chanelling. This is done through a “sensitive” or psychic individual capable of hosting a spirit entity through his body and mediate or channel information in an oral conversational method. Many groups with religious leanings and several cult organizations use this method of spirit communication. A good example would be “speaking in tongues,” where the host is in a trance while speaking unknown languages or making unintelligible sounds.

4. Seance. This is a group of people calling the spirit of the dead to communicate with the living, in any manner the spirit is capable of, or through a host in the seance group who is capable of channeling verbally or physically.

5. Automatic writing. A medium or psychic capable of hosting a spirit through his body communicates through writing. Once the host is in a trance state, messages are given by the spirit while the host writes the messages being received. Questions can and may be asked by anyone in the session, after which responses received by the host are actually written down.

6. Pen and Letter Tiles. This is one of the hardest methods of communication. In a vacant room, one leaves a question written on a piece of paper. A pen and paper or letter-tiles (eg., Scrabble tiles) are left inside with the written question to wait and hope that a spirit will reply by either writing the answer on the paper or by rearranging the letter-tiles.

7. Tarot card or other divination card or stone. Many use the tarot cards to communicate with the spirits. Others use either a stone or wooden stick to communicate. Those who are capable of using this method have a unique way of interpreting the messages of the spirits.

Dangers

1. Deception. It is a common occurrence in spirit communication that “lower” entities or spirits deceive people who wish to communicate with them. Spirit entities are capable of pretending to be the higher being or divine or the exact spirit with which the seeker wishes to communicate. They fool and manipulate people into believing that they are who they pretend to be, and the seeker would naturally accept messages given by these entities whether they are truthful or not. Most times they play around with the seekers and enjoy this habit of pretense very much. The seeker, on the other hand, has no inkling at all of the deception, not having learned to discern or sense the negative or unusual vibration of the spirit, as well as the level of depth of the messages given and shared by the spirit. Higher or divine spirits do not give messages of earthly nature, much more mundane, whimsical, personal messages and instructions.

2. Possession. Hosts that do not know the whole and correct process of spirit communication are risking and endangering themselves. This ritual of spirit communication could cost the host’s physical health, mental stability, emotional balance and, in the worst case scenario, complete body possession.

3. Ego. Many mediums believe that because of their ability to psychically communicate, they are more powerful than others. In reality, possessing this ability is a big responsibility, not only to the living but also to those who do not physically exist. This is a thankless job, and an arrogant attitude is the medium’s biggest mistake.

4. Wrong interpretation. There are many seekers and mediums who interpret messages based on their selfish motives and desires. A very good example would be messages spoken through “tongues” where messages are given in very unusual languages and sounds. As if the God or the spirits are so dumb that they cannot communicate in a “language” that is known to man!

5. Ailment. An energy that cannot be explained is received either as a powerful or sudden surge of energy and can destroy organs within the solar plexus. Known mediums have suffered from organ failures in the abdominal area, in the kidney, liver, pancreas and intestines.

Always remember

Cleansing. This is the most important process that many spirit communicators fail to do when conducting spirit communication sessions. I have spoken to so many sensitives/mediums and found that many do not cleanse themselves after such a session. Most do not know how and were never taught even the basics. Cleansing releases and removes the attachment of the entity or the spirit that was present during the session. The cleansing process is to be treated with sacredness and secrecy. It is a detailed process too long for this article, but if you are truly interested to learn it, you may contact me for advice and guidance, free of charge.

Motive. The purer the motive, the better. If one wants to talk to spirit just to say “hi” or “hello,” it is advisable not to. Our intention is the best reason for having a positive and successful communication. Do not be deceived by church organized spirit communication sessions or rituals as absolutely right, proper and always positive. The Holy Spirit knows everything. If the message has to be given, it is something that is to be understood by the receiver and the listener. Then again, I’ve seen a lot of people who join church groups who are into speaking in tongues and have considered this “revelation” as “big deal,” and thus follow blindly. A feather in the cap for the medium, regardless of the messages being unknown and un-interpreted for anyone to comprehend. If no one can understand the language/ sound then, no one in his right mind can or will interpret it. The messages remain as they were, unknown and obscure.

Divine Spirits. As a sacred rule, the Divine Spirits are not to be called. Spirits will come if the message and instructions are meant for you. No one in this planet can call upon the Divine to have a chat at his own will. Isn’t it absurd for a mortal to call a Higher Being at will? Shouldn’t it be the other way around? Lower spirits always play this of kind deception? And they do have good fun! So beware!

Messages of the Divine are meant for all, all the time and in all places and realms.

Finding your soul partner

First published in Daily Tribune under Anthony Vivero's Vibes and Vision dated February 2, 2009.

Love, once again, is in the air as Valentine’s Day approaches. Yet for some it will still be a struggle to find their elusive soul mates or soul partners. The truth is, there are many ways to find them. The problem is we often fill our heads with so many distractions, quantifying and qualifying our wishes and desires for our dream partners, or becoming so engrossed with work and career that we forego the opportunities to be happy.

People also tend to look too far, only to miss or overlook the love he or she has been looking for in the first place. That person may just around the corner.

The relationship between soul mates may or may not be in a romantic or sexual sense. It is a belief in love and on being able to have an intimate, spiritual and perfectly compatible connection with someone else.

Important things to learn

1. Be intuitive rather than logical. Remember, there will never be an exact explanation of what a soul is because it is not located in our brain, but in our heart. When looking for your soul partner, let the heart feel the difference and ignore your brainwork.

2. Don’t look far. Most often, God has made sure that whether your soul partner can be recognized as the one or not, that singular person will be there for you in your life, assisting you and vice versa, for both of your survival on earth.

3. Perfection is your goal. Many search for the perfect man, the perfect girl, or the perfect partner, but they forget the true meaning of this partnership — whoever your current partner is, be together and work in tandem toward this “perfection.” This is everyone’s ultimate goal.

4. Wealth and looks are secondary. Many look for these top two qualities from soul partners. The truth is, it is immaterial whether he or she is wealthy and good-looking. What matters most is that you feel comfortable, complete and cared for with this person. Those are the “three Cs” used to recognize a soul partner.

5. Be yourself. Reinventing or acting/pretending to be other than who you really are just to be chosen as the soul partner of your target mate will cause more problems over time. In the end when you are already romantically involved or deeply engaged, frustration sets in and may eventually lead to hatred. Expressing your true self is the perfect way to advertise yourself for your targeted soul partner. There is no need for presumption and pretension.

6. Be patient. An individual usually sets a time frame when searching for a soul mate. Belief in soul matters indicates that time and space is irrelevant. Soul, love and spirit can conquer all because they are boundless and limitless. If you honestly believe that a soul partner will come to color your life, to complete you, to be with you till eternity, for sure, he or she will come. Your soul partner may come whether you are 10 years old or 80 years old. There is no time frame or age limit.

7. Problems are normal. Many think that soul partners are trouble-free. That is a myth. Actually a soul partner is somebody that will be with you to solve the problems that you two are encountering every now and then and more often than not, these problems are the results of either your partnerships’ doing or undoing. You two are bound to resolve these issues.

8. Don’t be too obsessed with the idea. Being too eager or desperate when searching for a soul partner will make you look unattractive to others. Intended mates tend to stay away with smirks on their faces. You will be avoided like the plague. It is pretty downgrading if one is looking for a mere physical partner in life, erroneously thinking that what you are doing is searching for a soul mate search. Cool it.

9. Believe in affirmation. Make a conscious effort in believing and anticipating the day you will both meet. Declare to the universe that one day you will meet, see, recognize and eventually be with your soul partner for the rest of your life.

10. Be recognized. The problem with finding one’s soul partner is recognition. It is not just recognizing your partner that is important, but that you also be recognized. Some make the mistake of thinking they had found their partner because they thought they recognized them, but they worked less to be recognized or overdid it to show/pretend to be the soul partner of the other party. One of the partner is not the real deal. This is then a half-baked partnership and won’t work. These are some of the causes of soul mate partnership fallacies that debunkers are wont to exemplify.

Secret ritual

This is a ritual you can do alone before Valentine’s Day or before the full moon of any month.

Count nine days backwards from Feb. 14 or the exact day of the full moon. In this case, this will be on Feb. 5.

Get a pink candle. Write your name and the name of the potential soul partner, or your name and a blank space for another name (if you do not know who he or she is) on a white strip of paper. Roll the strip of paper around the candle and use a pin to secure it.

For nine consecutive days, add another pin to the candle, one per day, so there will be nine pins stuck to the candle by the ninth day.

If all the pins remain pinned, the name you have written could be your most probable soul partner. If there is no name indicated, sooner than expected your partner will come into your life. If one pin falls off from the candle, then try another name or try again on the next full moon.

I believe in soul partnership. It is similar to a business partnership, where we can have both good and bad times. This partnership will also need to be nurtured. The relationship will depend on how we harmoniously work for our partnership’s sake. The difficulty in any kind of partnership, including soul partnership, is finding the right one who shares your interests, your thoughts and all the things you are, good and bad. Sincerity, loyalty and the willingness to accept that life do have series and cycles of problems and solutions. To me, the one who possesses these qualities and beliefs is the perfect soul partner.

Welcome Year of the Ox

First published in Daily Tribune under Anthony Vivero's Vibes and Vision dated January 2, 2009.

The Year of the Ox 2009 will be slow and steady. Therefore, in all aspects of your life, whatever animal sign you are, the key to success is perseverance. Going slow and steady will make the year very fulfilling indeed.

Ox (1925, 1937, 1949, 1961, 1973, 1985, 1997, 2009)

The Ox oversees all and so fast improvements can be expected in all aspects on which he or she decides to focus this year. His success will involve participation and interaction with his own family and close friends. Though setbacks and delays may arise, the fulfillment of every desire lies in continued persistence of the Ox to eventually achieve his goal.

July and August is a high month for promotion of the Ox at work. In relationships, the last quarter of the year is the best time for the Ox to get paired with any animal sign to maximize luck and prosperity.

Lucky color: Yellow and green

Stone: Aquamarine

Best month: September

Tiger (1926, 1938, 1950, 1962, 1974, 1986, 1998, 2010)

The Ox Year is the laying of foundation for the Tiger, most especially before the year ends, where work will be doubled in preparation for his year, 2010. Discipline and focus is the key to the Tiger’s success, which will boost his luck and success the following year.

Mid-year is the best time to start a new business, transfer house, though construction is still best for the first quarter of the year. June is the best month to get married.

Lucky color: Blue

Stone: Sapphire

Best month: June

Rabbit (1927, 1939, 1951, 1963, 1975, 1987, 1999)

The Rabbit will be affected by the slow and steady attitude of the Ox. Though success will come in little package, these will come one after another. The single Rabbit will have the best time to get a partner for a lifetime, whereas the married Rabbit is cautioned not to enter into any relationship out of marriage as this will be the cause of the marriage break-up. The last quarter will welcome interesting projects and surprise proposals.

Lucky color: White and violet

Stone: Pearl

Best month: November

Dragon (1928, 1940, 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000)

Dragons will experience the high time of increasing income and wealth in the Year of the Ox. He has the potential of making it big in all aspects especially in the gossip table. So, be careful not to make any decision that will land you in a scandalous situation, whether it is true or not. May and June is the best time to get married, but the first quarter will be busy.

Lucky color: Gold and silver

Stone: Amethyst

Best month: April

Snake (1929, 1941, 1953, 1965, 1977, 1989, 2001)

This year the Snake will be very demanding and fast-paced yet he/she will remain flexible in all given situations. The first quarter will be mixed with emotions, of suspense and thrilling moments, but positive fulfillment will be seen in the end. Mid-year will be a roller-coaster journey, but again the Snake’s flexibility will make him/her a winner by the yearend. By September and October, there will be proposals to enter into a new world of the “unimaginable.”

Lucky color: Gold and green

Stone: Opal

Best month: February

Horse (1930, 1942, 1954, 1966, 1978, 1990, 2002)

This year, the Horse should learn to balance everything. Financial inputs will be positive, but your expenses tend to exceed what you have got. Even between work and leisure, you have a problem in making a good plan. Have someone to plan it for you. This is not a good year for romance so instead focus more on career and financial objectives.

Lucky color: White and yellow

Stone: Topaz

Best month: December

Goat (1931, 1943, 1955, 1967, 1979, 1991, 2003)

This is not a year for good times or the Goats to dance, though loyal friends and loving family will keep the Goat busy, keeping his/her head above the tides. Cut off your enthusiasm for spending and instead delay it for a year to focus more on money-earning activities. Travels are expected around August and September.

Lucky color: Blue, green

Stone: Emerald

Best month: August

Monkey (1932, 1944, 1956, 1968, 1980, 1992, 2004)

One task at a time is called upon. Multi-tasking for the Monkey will create more problems than solutions and progress. Anyway, in the Year of the Ox, slow and steady is the name of the game, so the Monkey will have a lot of time for rest and it will be good for his/her health. The last quarter of the year will be busy months for you.

Lucky color: Violet and white

Stone: Peridot

Best month: October

Rooster (1933, 1945, 1957, 1969, 1981, 1993, 2005)

Money matters are all set for the Rooster this year. Family relationships will be sweeter than ever. Travel will be a bonus item for the Rooster. Keep on smiling and things will be better this year. A new career will come by October that will give huge benefits. Having a child is best for a couple with a Rooster parent this year.

Lucky color: Orange

Stone: Citrine

Best month: March

Dog (1934, 1946, 1958, 1970, 1982, 1994, 2006)

Dogs will be busy with his social life this year. This will be his way of building connections to prepare for more serious goals commencing by the last quarter. November opportunities will come in all aspects so better prepare for this. Marry if your relationship is in its second year of engagement, shorter than this won’t be that good.

Lucky color: Red

Stone: Diamond

Best month: November

Pig (1935, 1947, 1959, 1971, 1983, 1995, 2007)

Health issues may arise for the Pig this year. Better check any related pains and ailments before it is too late. Luck may come anytime of the year. Even marriage will be a surprise news to the Pig. It will bring luck if the Pig is female and the wedding is done in the month of June or July.

Lucky color: Red and white

Stone: Ruby

Best month: June

Rat (1936, 1948, 1960, 1972, 1984, 1996, 2008)

It is the best year for the Rat to get married. But be sure to have your own place after the wedding to welcome luck and prosperity. Job opportunities outside of your country will yield positively, though you must balance work and time for oneself and family.

Lucky color: White

Stone: Garnet

Best month: March
