Forecast for 2009

First published in Daily Tribune under Anthony Vivero's Vibes and Vision dated January 5, 2009.

Many fear the unknown. Many speculate. But there is a proper way to handle the uncertainty of the future. Take notice of the clues around you about the coming days. Tune in to your surroundings. There will always be bad forecasts, and by sensing these clues you may see that the bad may not be that bad after all.

The economy

To the looming global recession, the Philippines will never be affected. Our resiliency is proven to be our best trait. We can still laugh and find fun even in the hardest times. The Filipinos are different from other people in the world. Yes, as the whole world goes deeper into economic woes, we will not follow. A slack can be felt but we will manage very well, and among our Asian counterparts we will be the first one to rise up and recover.

In the middle of the year, when everything will break loose, especially when gas prices go up again, the Philippines will already have adjusted to the worst scenario as predicted by economists. The majority of the Filipinos who are in the middle-income bracket will just feel the slowness of the economy but before it can affect the rich and big businesses, the tide will change. This will be the uphill climb for the rich nations.

The climate and disasters

Water will still dominate the causes of the death and destructions in the world. The date with the probable highest mortality and to remember is Jan. 25 of this year. I can sense a strong negative vibration on this day. Just beware of this date, but do not panic.

Politics

In the Philippines, Gloria Arroyo will still be in power and will make a last try to stay in power in 2010 via suspension of election, or worse abolishing the current structure of government. This is their agenda, if the legal means given by the Constitution will not be acceptable to the populace.

The President

This leader we have today is bound to lead for life. She is destined to lead as long as she remains strong. The secrets of her strength are correct timing, the right people, a very supportive family, one objective, and no opposition. Many play as opposition to the worst-loved leader of the nation but nobody has enough courage to fight to death like she does.

The nearest anyone can get in being a true opposition is Sen. Antonio Trillanes. Unfortunately he is proven to be just a politician and not a person driven by ideology. Only a person who is willing to die for a cause can remove Gloria Arroyo because Gloria is willing to die for her seat.

Sad to say, no politicians and civic leaders today has the character to face confrontation with the strong woman of the nation.

The Senate

This will still be the stage of players as it has always been. They will all play gods, and the political miracle that everyone is waiting for will never come. Gone were the days of respectable senators. All we have are politicians who play like actors and actors who play politicians.

It is also sad to note that these politicians from congress who managed to get in the Senate smoking like hell against the administration are now all smoke in the air, gone and silent in their chairs of power.

The older politicians will play politics of course for their retirement. They will play the game of being “good and wise,” strategically playing the strong and mighty but still loved by many.

The Congress

This one can be for Ripley’s Believe It or Not. If you need entertainment similar to the comedy bars in town where you can laugh and sometimes be annoyed by jokes made upon you, then go and watch the congress proceedings. This chamber is really wasting taxpayers’ money. Sadly, now we realize that we have chosen them during the elections for P500 bills and free entertainments in the plaza.

Showbiz

Showbiz doesn’t need a visionary to know the demise of these aging actors. Five natural deaths of old but respectable showbiz personalities will happen in the entertainment world this year.

Local movies will still be losing money. Big and upcoming stars will not make money for the movie companies. Television mini-movies will still be in but the truth is it is the killer of the big screen. Why pay for movies when you can get it free on television? Before everybody realizes it, they have killed their own businesses.

Sports

Manny Pacquiao will still be the best local hero in sports. Two more fights and he will say goodbye. I predict one win and one loss. He will concentrate in politics after that. The question is will he be a good politician? The answer is no.

A woman athlete will come into the limelight in the middle of the year. She will be the best in that sports category. She will be world-class.

Best business opportunity

Underground economy is still the best — no rent, little manpower, minimal overhead operational expenses. A small business venture in which all the members of the family can join in and help is the best. Instead of paying other people, let every family member help and pay them as employees. Presto! One family company will make both ends meet. Street food, food by order and delivery, and anything that entails less production cost will make good business.

Lucky color

Green and yellow are good to wear during business meetings and opportunities. Having a car that is colored green and with shades of yellow will bring luck. Try to get the combination of the two and you will be doubly lucky.

Lucky orientation

The south gate is good this year. Chinese astrology has its own different orientation, but based on my vibration and my own Filipino culture waking up facing south will bring luck.

Lucky month

The luckiest months are May and June. Changes for good opportunities and travel will be bountiful this year.

Happy New Year to all. Be informed and have a better life.

Full Moon Effect

First published in Daily Tribune under Anthony Vivero's Vibes and Vision dated November 17, 2008.

Throughout history, people have paid special attention to the moon and its phases. The earliest records showing moon sketching was on Cro-Magnon bone tools (c. 28,000 BCE) indicating the moon was already very important in the lives of the people at the time.

Our ancestors knew that their daily lives were influenced by natural cycles and were aware of the moon cycles and the earth’s seasonal changes. They focused on the moon’s lunar energy, based on their experience, to meet their goals and objectives. Up to modern times these traditional concepts are still used for both personal or community goal setting and empowerment. The main concern in the during the onset of agriculture in olden times was their crop. The so-called Farmer’s Almanac was based on the moon cycles, where phases were timings for planting and harvesting.

Prior to the discovery of agriculture, hunters and gathering communities used the moon as their calendar. On a full moon, oceans ran a high tide as the gravitational force of the moon pulls the waters of the earth toward it at full force. It is because of this natural occurrence that the moon is a valuable tool for sailors and fishermen all over the world.

Ancient priests who became experts in the then-primitive science of astronomy predicted phases of the moon for the use of their communities to observe religious practices and rituals.

Up to today, the phases of the moon are the basis of Jewish, Muslim, Hindu and most other religions as their sources of information for their religious activities and feasts. It is also the source used in Christian holidays like Easter.

As the moon waxes and wanes, the earth’s natural satellite affects us in many ways.

It is also known that man is made of the same elements as the surface of the earth and in the same proportion: 80 percent liquid and 20 percent solid. The human brain floats in fluid, which both nourishes it and cushions it against shock. The gravitational pull of the moon on human beings has its effects on our bodily elements, particularly its liquid content. From the belief that the moon affects the mind emerged the words lunar and lunatic, derived from the Latin word luna, meaning “moon.”

On a full moon, most of us, as writers say, are prone to overly emotional behavior. In some cases, we become “crazy” or “nuts,” abandoning our inhibitions or becoming overnight romantics.

Awareness of the environment and its effects on human behavior has become a part of the present popularity of total wellness. Connecting with nature is one of the basic pleasures of life that had fallen out of style because of our hi-tech obsession. Listening to the waves of the ocean on a full moon is a real pleasure one should experience and rediscover once in a while.

Phases of the moon

The phases of the moon result from the positions of earth, moon and sun. Like all other satellites and planets, the moon shines primarily from light received from the sun. A full moon occurs when the sunlight is reflected directly back to earth. It is said that a Full Moon is nine times brighter than the moon at its first quarter. Just as the moon waxes and wanes in the night, so do tides of lunar energy ebb and flow around us and within us.

Waxing cycle

The moon is increasing in size. It is in the period from the new moon to the full moon. The energy from this cycle should be used in inviting what you want towards you. This is a good time to begin new projects or expand current endeavors, to work on love, harmony, balance and peace, as well as for protection and healing.

Waning cycle

The moon is decreasing in size. The moon is in the period from the full moon to the new moon. Use this time to remove and reject negative in your or your life such as disease, negative behavior and also for dissolving destructive energies.

Waning moon/last quarter starts six hours after the full moon

Full moon

The moon and the sun are in opposition, and starts exactly at its fullest up to the fifth hour. The entire moon is bright. When the Earth, sun and moon are nearly in a straight line, with the Earth in the middle, we have a full moon. The full moon is the best time to announce new things, especially things to do with our emotions. This is also an ideal time for rituals and other spiritual celebrations and events. A full moon symbolizes a happy home life when moving to a new house.

New moon

When the Earth, sun and moon are nearly in a straight line, with the moon in the middle, we have a new moon. As a general guide, the new moon is a good time to start new things, things that need time to develop.

Do your ritual either during the new or full moon. The difference is in your meditation and mental attitude in preparation. The new moon is a time of outward work and thought, building to the peak of the full moon.

Positive and negative is not the same as good and bad. In this sense, the full moon and the waxing moon are good times for positive desires. The waning moon and new moon are good times for removal of negativity.

Knowing the moon phases can help you plan and prepare for change, new beginnings and endings. Rituals can be enhanced by using the moon and its cycles for specific purposes. Having a goal can greatly affect the outcome of your rituals. Working with the moon’s energy increases your own personal power and supports your intention.

We always see the same face of the moon because the moon’s day is the same length as its year. This is because the moon’s rotational period is the same as its orbital period. The phases of the moon, or its different shapes, are caused by the different angles from which we see the lit part of its surface. Half of the moon is always bright; we just cannot always see all its illuminated parts.

The next full moon is on Dec. 15, 2008. The actual ritual for a full moon will depend greatly on the focus you chose.

New moon starts exactly when the moon is under the umbra or shadow of the sun, up to the fifth hour of its total darkness

What’s a blue moon?

“Once in a blue moon” is an expression we use meaning “not very often,” but what exactly is a blue moon?

First Meaning: It actually means two full moons in a one month. Some years have 13 full moons instead of 12. That’s because lunar cycles are 29 to half days long and most months are 30 or 31 days long. So once every 2.7 years, there’s a second full moon in a month, thus called a “blue moon.” On the average, there will be 41 months that have two full moons in every century, so once in a blue moon actually means once every two-and-a-half years.

Second meaning: From time to time the moon’s color actually becomes bluish. The moon’s color can be affected by atmospheric debris, like volcanic ash, that blocks out the red component of light and gives it a bluish hue. A good example happened in 1991 when Mount Pinatubo erupted.

It is believed that when there is a blue moon, the energy is more powerful, and our wishes and desires are doubled in power and intensity. It is more commonly known for romantic and love rituals.

Moon rituals

The phases of the moon have a direct effect on us, whether we practice lunar rituals or not. The lunar phases based on science do affect the tides and water, around us and within us, so there are gravitation pulls. We are not exempt from to the magical and mystical property of the moon.

The unsettling undercurrents of this time may be a bit disturbing to most of us. But one way to increase our confidence and optimism is to harmonize with the energy of the moon.

Do remember that you must be aware of the time prescribed, otherwise whatever you do would have no effect at all. Spiritual time and astronomical time tables are different because the usage and purpose are different.

Based on my own personal experience and from the notes of different people who believe that that moon possesses magical powers, the full moon is one of the cycles that should be kept in mind, as many rituals are made and done with no limits or segregations — all goals, aims, wishes and purposes are permitted and are applicable.

Different purposes for rituals

1. Love

2. Relationship

3. Tool for soulmate search

4. Energy builder

5. Empowerment

6. Prosperity

7. Health matters

Man has used the magical powers of the moon to gain something desired and needed. Some believers of the New Age were branded as pagans. For me, as long the intention of one practitioner is not to harm nor judge other people, but choose only to open their hearts and minds in the understanding of this natural and cosmic belief, I would even pray for and support them instead. I believe that these people who believe in the magical powers of the moon have more love, respect and understanding of nature and are more spiritual than others.

Happy Mooning!

Miracles...

First published in Daily Tribune under Anthony Vivero's Vibes and Vision dated Januray 22, 2007.

People are often blinded by the mystical powers of a person who claims to have the ability to perform miracles. Many of the self-proclaimed miracle-makers practice and perform superficial maneuverings for public demonstration and enchantment. But what do we really get out of these? Do these public demonstrations of power do our lives good or make it better? Do they turn us into blind followers and believers of what we perceive as miracles from God?

STORIES OF TRUE MIRACLES

VIRGIE ‘Bhabes’ TARUN

Wilfred and Bhabes, like any young couple, dreamt of having a child after their wedding. Prior to their marriage, Wilfred was operated on his reproductive organ, after which the doctor told him that he might not be capable of having children. Only if he acquired medical assistance would he have a chance to father a child. Bhabes, for her part, had been earlier diagnosed as having unhealthy ovaries.

Not losing hope, for seven years they tried and experimented on all kinds of aids, medically and scientifically, to have a child. Pregnancy would come, but get terminated within a couple of weeks. After several attempts, they sought other options and were told of an alternative way — the spiritual way. They had tried all possible means to realize that dream of having a child of their own, and were defeated, so now they finally surrendered themselves to God for the miracle. Initially, it seemed, the dream would remain a dream. Another three years passed and nothing happened.

Not losing hope, but willing to accept their fate, they decided to serve the people for their entire life in a healing mission. But they knew in their hearts that miracles happen in the most unexpected moments.

After several months, Bhabes got pregnant again. The doctors were amazed. She was advised to have complete bed rest because of her delicate ovarian condition.

Now pregnant and very happy indeed, Bhabes did not forget her promise to serve the people in the healing mission. Her pregnancy didn’t stop her from continuing her work in the mission. Cooking is her expertise, so she does the cooking to feed the people/patients and other volunteers during healing sessions and other activities.

But another trial came. Maybe she really needed that bed rest for she suffered severe bleeding. There was danger of a miscarriage. Confidently, Bhabes and Wilfred hung on to their faith, and believed firmly that if it is God’s miracle, then the baby will hang on to live. Days of furious bleeding didn’t stop the couple in believing in their miracle becoming reality. Eventually, the bleeding stopped. Bhabes was well again, but this time she took everything slowly, rested more, though she did not stop completely. She just became extra careful and acutely aware of her condition.

After several more months, Bhabes finally delivered a healthy baby boy. Contrary to the doctor’s prognosis of a caesarian birth, the baby came out via normal delivery.

The story of Wilfred and Bhabes is one story of a strong faith and belief in the miracle of God.

ANTONIO JAVIER

Tony suffered from severe pneumonia which later developed into lung cancer. He was dying and had no money for any kind of medication. So he decided to hang on to his faith alone. He asked for prayers and healing from a mission group. He never failed to drop by for healing and prayers to the healing sessions on a regular basis. He joined in most of its projects and other activities, to the best of his ability.

Almost 10 years have passed and Mang Tony is still alive and well. He has devoted himself to helping other people by joining the mission. His sickness before and good health today is a huge testament of God’s miracle.

MY OWN MIRACLE

I have been doing psychic healing for almost eight years now in BF Homes, Paranaque City. I heal and pray for all kinds of people, from the moneyed to the poorest, treating and healing their various illnesses and problems, from cancer to ordinary domestic problems. People don’t know that I have my own set of problems, most especially in the performance of my healing mission.

Two years ago, without the people’s knowledge, we were about to be evicted by the owner of the lot we were using for the healing mission. The owner who was abroad allowed us the use of his vacant lot, temporarily, as there are normally several hundred patients who come to the healing sessions, of which my own house (including the garage, and most times, the street, could not accommodate comfortably). Having had temporary improvements made at the lot, it did cost us a good amount of money to make it comfortable for the sick and ailing people.

I was informed by the caretaker that there was a prospective buyer and that we had to move out of the property at the soonest time. After several requests to remain there, a bit longer and after several visits by prospective buyers, I was finally offered to buy the property, but with a deadline. The money wasn’t there to purchase the property, deadline or no deadline.

Two days before deadline day, the money to buy it remained a puzzle. Slowly, my volunteers and I decided to move all movable items and knock down some parts we had erected there. It was rather puzzling, as we could not remove a single bolt or a single stone slab we had placed there. We all still believed that God would provide the money to buy the lot and would settle everything right.

It was a Saturday night and the deadline was Monday. I spent the whole night that day praying, thanking God for everything He had given me and asking for help regarding the healing center. I held on to my belief that God would make way for us to have a place for the patients and believers. With tears in my eyes and the flame of hope in my heart, I believed that God would provide.

Early morning of Sunday, the miracle came. I not only had the money for the purchase of the lot, but also a little extra to build the concrete structure!

Many asked how everything just fell into place. I can only say, that it is God’s gift. A miracle in its true form! If only one believes, even at the last minute of a trial, when everything is next to impossible, God’s miracle is possible.

Miracles are for everyone who believe in it. It is given straight by God to you. Though God uses instruments on earth for a miracle to be achieved, it is not entirely in the hands of the instrument. One must pass trials to the last, to the very end. Believe, and the miracle will be yours.

Miracles break what is impossible to man.

The Good Life - Part 1

First published in Daily Tribune under Anthony Vivero's Vibes and Vision dated April 21, 2008.

We are after the “good life.” Financial success is what everybody wants. That is why the lottery is the number-one game of chance in the world, giving hope of instant riches. How we wish we can be rich and have the best money can buy.

The second wish is to have a perfect family and/or a companion who will be by his side all his life. He or she can be anybody, as long as that person is willing to spend the rest of his/her life with another.

The third desire of man is power. As long there are people “below” them, including their children, the taste of power remains very fulfilling. Man’s hunger for power never ceases. Man desires for more power. Along with it is respect in every aspect of their life.

Another wish is always placed last in the list – health. People want to live as long as they want but unfortunately we don’t give health serious time and concern, only when we are ill, which at that point perfect recovery is almost impossible to achieve.

So, for a good life, one must have one, if not all, of these: wealth, family/ companion, power and health.

But to many of us, why does it seem so hard to achieve at least one? Let us try to look at some of the problems. We might then be able to pinpoint the crucial factors.

Responsibility

Many still believe that pain and misfortunes in life are caused by family curses, brought from one generation to another. Some even say that they are the works of the devil. Worse, some, the desperate ones, blame their god for all the negative events that happened to them.
A fool will always blame others for his misfortune. The crazy ones will blame himself. The half-fool and half-crazy will blame both. But a man of wisdom will blame no one.

Our troubles and difficulties really came from ourselves. They arise from our own actions, which are rooted in greed, hatred and delusion. But sometimes, if not always, we succeed so well in trying to fool others. We even manage to fool ourselves with false realities that we have created in our minds.
If we made a mistake, we must have the courage to admit it. And no matter how unpleasant the effect of it, we must be ready to face it. If one possesses this kind of character and attitude, the negativities will be diminished, that is, when we become responsible for our actions. Negative action plus positive action will result in a positive scenario. Remember your basic algebra.

We must keep on practicing a responsible act for every action that we do and intend to do. Every thought, every word, every action has an effect that will give us the success or misfortune that is deserving. And yet, regardless of the action we did, we must still be responsible about all that comes with the results.
As the motto says, “With great power comes with great responsibility.” Unfortunately, many want success without any responsibility. We forget that everything on earth has to be paid for, in every sense.

Teach responsibility to children while they are still young. One way of teaching responsibility to young kids is having pets, which they care by themselves. In a way, they will also learn power over a pet. They can also plant fruit-bearing trees or flowering plants. This is power over something but with great responsibility over that something.

During summer breaks, let children earn money. Pay them for extra jobs they can do around the house—cleaning, washing the car, watering the plants. Even if they are not experts, pay them. It is a lot better for them to earn the money rather than you just giving it to them without effort. For sure they will ask for cash, work or no work. And let them spend the money as they wish. This will train them to consider the value of money.

Provide quality time with loved ones. This will create a harmonious change to everyone involved. The needs and security of each other’s presence will be felt. Let them or both of you join in any sports or activities that require teamwork. This will create trust among each other. And together, this will create a healthy body and mind.

Tolerance and patience

People tend to complain first before doing anything once confronted by events that make them uncomfortable. We complain of bad governance, of poor parents, unfaithful partners, stubborn children, bad weather, bad economy. We even complain of terrible traffic conditions, and so many other things around us. All we do is complain. To balance the equation, ask yourself if you did something to alleviate the condition in any of these situations before you started complaining?

About corruption, will you wait for your turn in a government transaction or will you use your connection or money to gain advantage of being the first in line and get preferential treatment? Instead of blaming our parents, why can’t we help them in every household chore, study well, be the children that parents dream of? It will give your parents the joy they had wished for and not the problem they never wanted in the first place.

Why don’t we help conserve energy in our own little ways to help alleviate the bad effects on the earth’s ozone layer? Less usage of electrical gadgets and appliances instead of complaining about temperatures too often and at every opportunity.
Are you a law abiding citizen? Do you beat the red light? As a pedestrian, do you use the overpass or underpass instead of crossing the street? Are you courteous to another motorist? Do you give way to those who are just starting to learn how to drive?

Be tolerant. Have more patience, and the good life will be yours. Be more responsible in your words and actions. Then problems will be less, and the good life in every sense will be at hand.

Shifting your mind and your life

First published in Daily Tribune under Anthony Vivero's Vibes and Vision dated April 7, 2008.

The way we have always been taught to think or learn seems to have failed us, judging from the chaos we, modern man, are experiencing today.

Great men of both spiritual and philosophical bent have been interpreted as and considered old hats, overpowered and overshadowed by influential, self-centered and greedy men, who have twisted the teachings of these wise and true spiritual beings. Their knowledge and wisdom have been hidden, forgotten by the majority, and considered part of ancient hullabaloo — worthless, useless and out of synch with the ‘modern’ world.

The “modern” men who invented new thought processing media and philosophy hide behind organizations, formed mostly under religious or modern/high-tech setups to catch attention then subsequently recruit members and believers. They easily get away by camouflaging their self-serving agendas with ‘new’ philosophies and belief-systems. Unfortunately, many of these so-called new prophets and business titans do not follow what they preach and worse, don’t even know the real truth about the teachings of their gods, but instead supplement these with their own creations, their self-centered ideas, manipulating believers in the process for their own selfish ends. We have been practically brainwashed into their own way of thinking, to totally disregard our own, ignorant of our own capabilities.

Others groups are created under the leadership of supposed knowledgeable and trustworthy men to govern the populace and serve their needs, promote peace and prosperity and prevent chaos. Unfortunately, most of them turn out to be the very same wolves that would slaughter us alive.

Who or what is really to blame? I believe we have to go several generations back to analyze what went wrong along the way. Is it the really man to blame or the knowledge that was transferred to us that we still continue to transfer to our children today? I strongly believe it all boils down to the evil deeds of ill-spirited leaders and people for control of the human race. “You control the mind, and you control every inch of the individual,” and so on and so forth. And our forebears swallowed these newfound knowledge and belief systems, hook, line and sinker, thus the chaotic situation of humanity in most parts of the world.

How we were taught to think

The transfer of knowledge our forebears adopted and accepted as the norm minimized the capabilities of the human mind, with all the possibilities that it can learn and accomplish. We have to thank many old thinkers, who had kept ancient knowledge at bay to finally divulge them later or a time they needed to do so for the benefit of humanity and for real progress..

How glad we all are, just the same, that our society nowadays is more permissive than centuries back, as we are allowed to open up and share knowledge of the past and the present, and surely of the future. We are also more accepting now and thus there are a lot more opportunities to grab in terms of education and other learning processes. And with the internet, our sources and resources are endless! Now is the time to tap all that is available to us, and I guess we need them most now in our time, for our future.

A secret knowledge that has re-emerged in the recent past is the use of our total brain. We were taught from childhood to focus on our analytical mind almost exclusively, that is, tapping only our left side of the brain where logic and analysis is best. We tend to miss out on developing our right side of the brain where ideas, innovation, art, emotion, creativity and intuition reside.

For instance, why is it that children find it easier to learn songs than to memorize the multiplication table? Would you agree then that if the multiplication table were sung, then children would be able to memorize it like any nursery rhyme?

It is because the right brain hemisphere is the better half of our brain! The right brain’s capability is vast and encompasses more of the abilities a human being is capable of accomplishing. The real answers lie in the truthfulness on the workings of the right brain. It believes its own product. It never analyzes and has no conflict unlike the left brain where it questions its own answers and recommendations. Then more questions would pop up, and a neverending question-and-answer dilemma floods in, where solutions seem nowhere to be found.

Left or right brain?

Developing the full potential of one’s mind should begin during the child’s first years in school. There is fun in singing, working on abstract toys and tools. Almost all of the things in the school are colorful and visual. These dominate the whole classroom scenario and tap the right brain to the maximum. Abstract reasoning is harnessed, developing their minds and encouraging them to focus on their studies.

During the primary and secondary levels of our schooling, study pressure starts to build up, thus shifting our usage to the left brain from the right brain. This becomes the norm. The right brainers become oddities instead of the real thinkers. We cannot say, though, that if we use our brain hemispheres separately we will more effective or productive. It is more correct to state that using both the hemispheres simultaneously is the real key.

If we combine the use of the left and right brains, then we will experience the full potential of our mind, and hence the full benefit that life brings and offers.

How then can we shift our brain usage from the left to the right hemisphere? While there are books on this to read on your own, it is advisable to study in a group to be more effective and get the process right on the dot. There will be consultation and verification, and group work is much more fun, lighter, and easier for the student, just like in primary school. Attending seminars or classes for these types of studies would be more to your advantage as you can immediately verify the correctness of the learned process.

Seminars are advertised by many institutions and associations; try checking them out, including the one we conduct in our healing center. Observe and choose the one suited to your liking and style, as there are different ways, means and styles for these lectures.

But for those who have no time and financial capabilities to attend, I will share some pointers to start off. These are simple things you can practice now at home.

Intuition 101

1. Practice daydreaming everyday. Forget limitations and explore the horizon.

2. Be more abstract than logical. Shapes and symbols tell more signs of the truth than the logical way of expression, where one can even alter the real meaning of it.

3. Skip a meal at least once daily. This will help one get to the right side of the brain easily.

4. Play games abstract in nature, the old board games, card games, easy games and not the analytical types.

5. Try to create tunes about anything you happen to think about, one you can memorize easily.

6. Spend an hour a day doing nothing, thinking about nothing, saying nothing, hearing nothing, seeing nothing. Focus on nothingness.

7. Do not watch any television program especially the news, don’t read any newspaper, live without a computer or any electronic gadget for a week. This will refresh your mind.

8. Make yourself ‘incommunicado’ for a day. No cell phones, no landlines, whether wired or wireless. This will re-boot your mind, or correct the mode of your brain.

9. Spend a night sleeping on the ground. Pitch a tent in a backyard, on a mountain, or near the beach. The energy of the earth will naturally ground you.

10. Believe in the impossible, on things that are not seen nor based on facts, as society dictates. The concept of God is based on faith, belief in the impossible, not fact or scientific proof.

What are the benefits of using your brain hemispheres simultaneously? A lot! You will be able to know yourself better. You will have your own mind and can’t easily be convinced by other people. You will be able to stand on your own and decide the kind of life you want to have. You will be more intuitive. You will be able to function more effectively by yourself, with your family and with society. You will become more settled and confident, more comprehensible, more amiable, more understanding, more intelligent, and lastly, healthier in body and mind. Most important of all, you will get closer to your known God.

Practice this if you really want to experience the full potential of your life. Good luck!
